Acceptance of these terms

By visiting this website, contacting the board, donating, volunteering or offering in-kind services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Use of the site

This website is offered for informational and charitable purposes. You agree not to misuse it — including attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, submitting false or misleading information, or using it to harass any person served by or serving with Perfect Love Homes.

Donations

Donations are requested in US Dollars until further notice. Donations made via PerfectLoveHomes.org are potentially tax deductible under IRS regulations for 501(c)(3) charities. Consult your accountant about the limits of tax deductibility; we cannot give tax advice.

Gifts are generally non-refundable once processed. If you believe a donation was made in error or duplicated, contact us promptly and we will review the request in good faith.

In-kind contributions

Vendors may donate services Perfect Love Homes needs. In-kind value claimed for tax deductibility may not exceed the local fair market value of a competitive service. Perfect Love Homes accepts in-kind gifts at its discretion, based on the needs of the mission.

Volunteers and staff

All volunteers and paid employees are background checked, with careful discernment in staff selection using background data and three or more good character references. Submitting an interest form does not create an offer, an employment relationship, or a guarantee of placement.

Use of funds

The PLH Board makes decisions on where support is provided outside of future PLH facilities, and will make every attempt to keep operating expenses low. Unless a gift is restricted by written agreement, donations are applied where the Board determines the need is greatest.

Intellectual property

The Perfect Love Homes name, logo, text, photographs and page designs on this site are owned by or licensed to Perfect Love Homes. You may share and quote our content for non-commercial, informational purposes with attribution; any other use requires written permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

This site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. Content is not legal, financial, medical or tax advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perfect Love Homes and its board, staff and volunteers are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this site.

Third-party links and services

This site may link to other charities, payment processors or resources. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party, and a link is not an endorsement of everything that party does.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
